Diagram or Model Creation of the Sun's Life Cycle
The sun is a yellow dwarf. The next stage of the life cycle is Red Giant. The sun will become a red giant as the hydrogen in the sun becomes helium. The helium is a heavier element which causes the star to gain mass. When the star gains mass the star, our sun, will grow to many times its original size. Thus, causing a red giant. The red giant will continue to grow in size till it transforms into two pieces, called a planetary nubulea. There is a nebulea which is a "cloud" of gas and dust floating around the core left behind from the red giant. Eventually the nebulea, "the cloud", will seperate from the core leaving a white dwarf.
Sun's Life Cycle Diagram or Model
Now that you understand the Sun's Life Cycle and what it will become you will need to create a diagram or model of the Sun's Life Cycle for your colleagues (peers). This diagram or model must include all the stages of the sun's life cycle including the stages before yellow dwarf. After each stage there should be a short description of the stage. In between the stages there should be a short description describing how one stage transfers to another. Also, explain to your colleagues why the Sun is important to our solar system and how you believe the changes will affect our solar system. (You will need to do some individual research to develop a theory of what happens after the yellow dwarf becomes a red giant.) You will be presenting these diagrams or models to your colleagues before you can travel through time and space. Good Luck!
